Altrad Stellingbouw Balliauw, Altrad Euroscaff and Altrad Balliauw Multiservices are limited companies, and Balliauw France is a limited liability company. Their workers and employees are respectively subject to Belgian or to French law. Our scaffolding activities are carried out in Belgium, France and the Netherlands, consistent with the free circulation of goods, services, capital and personnel, and in compliance with European legislation. The safety and protection of each employee is essential in achieving the profits and success of our group.

Company and departmental management are responsible :

Every employee is responsible for his/her own safety and the safety of his fellow workers. He/she is obliged to adhere to safety regulations and instructions.
Excellent safety results can only be achieved if everybody actively joins in and cooperates. Organisation The safety department consists of 1 leading safety-advisor, 7 assistant safety-advisors and 2 secretaries.
Altrad Balliauw is a training center with the following training:
- Scaffolding trainee (2 weeks)
- Skilled scaffolder (2 weeks)
- Foreman (1 week)
- Scaffolding inspector

The purpose of this safety plan is to strive for:
- zero lost time accidents.
- zero accidents with adapted work.
- zero accidents with medical treatment.
- zero first aid accidents.
- zero environmental incidents.
Start Work Analyses Last year we made our people clear that it is important to “think before they act” by using the Start Work Analysis. This is a short analysis on site about the potential dangers of the plant. Always make a SWA before starting the work, even by routine jobs. It only takes 5 minutes of time but it reminds everybody of the existing risk and how to reduce and be aware of them. “Safety Awards” were given to Altrad Balliauw Stellingbouw by the following companies
