Background
Founded 32 years ago, the Balliauw Group was built up through acquisitions and the formation of companies. It was acquired by the Altrad Group in March 2006. The Balliauw Group now comprises 4 companies, employing over 900 staff, with a turnover of some 60 million € in the Benelux countries and France.

HISTORY
07 / 2006

• Stellingbouw Balliauw NV became Altrad Stellingbouw Balliauw NV.
• The company €uroscaff NV became Altrad €uroscaff NV.
• The company Fourisol Multi services NV became
   Altrad Balliauw Multiservices NV.
• Balliauw Sément SARL became Balliauw SARL (France).

03 / 2006 • The Balliauw Group bought out by the Altrad Group.
01 / 2002 • Stellingbouw Balliauw Smeets BV became Steigerbouw
  Maasland BV.
09 / 2001 • €urosteiger company assets bought up.
08 / 2001 • The company Stellingbouw Balliauw BVBA became Stellingbouw
  Balliauw NV .
12 / 2000 • The company Scaffyco NV became Euroscaff NV.
05 / 2000 • The company Fourisol Isolatietechnieken NV became
  Fourisol Multi services NV.
02 / 2000 • Acquisition of SES Verhuur BV which became Stellingbouw
  Balliauw Smeets BV.
12 / 1999 • Formation of the company Electro Subitech NV. 
• Acquisition of the company Fourisol Isolatietechnieken NV.
• Acquisition of Fourisol Nederland BV.
04 / 1999 • Formation of Balliauw Multi Services NV.
08 / 1998 • Formation of Scaffyco BV.
07 / 1998 • Acquisition of Bussman BV which became Balliauw Steigerbouw BV.
01 / 1998 • Formation of the company Scaffyco NV.
02 / 1997 • Acquisition of Sement SA which became  Balliauw Sement SARL.
08 / 1990 • The company Stellingbouw Balliauw PVBA became Stellingbouw
